In case you've not been up to the courts recently, we're proud to announce that the Pavilion is in place and looks fantastic! (see below right)
The electricity has now been installed and huge thanks go to local resident Neil Goodall and to Taylor Electrical Controls of Tamworth for all their hard work. In total they donated over £2,000 in time and materials - thanks guys!
We'd like to thank our members and the local community for their generous donations and to acknowledge our appreciation of the grant funding received from The Summerfield Trust (£3,000), Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association (£2,000) D G Albright Charitable Trust (£3,000) and the Gloucestershire LTA 2018 Club of The Year Award prize money (£500).
We continue to raise funds to get the interior fitted out and have the following outstanding items:
Internal plumbing for the sink unit, toilet and basin
Landscaping including removal of old store, re-profiling of bank, reinstating public footpath, 3 lots of new new steps, handrailing, paving and fencing, planting new trees, shrubs, hedging and grass
If you're able to help with any of the above items, whether it's financially or by donating some of your time, please get in touch.
Many thanks for your support.
